Who are we?

Although the idea of local people coming together and standing up for the betterment of Heaton Norris started in June 2014, Love Heaton Norris officially started a few months later in September. Run by a group of local people from all walks of life (incl. residents, community workers, charities, faith leaders, employees, businesses and school governors) to champion all things Heaton Norris.

We currently hold a public meeting completely open to all, on every second Monday evening of the month at various venues throughout Heaton Norris. We want to make Love Heaton Norris a platform for the whole community to work together for the well-being of the region by either supporting the community work of others & or starting one of their own.

Help make Heaton Norris a better place to work, live & play

Can you help us? Want your voice heard or just want to know more? Your views & ideas are most welcome. Either contact us for more information or better still, pop down to one of our public meetings on the second Monday evening of every month. Either way we would love to hear from you.

Hi All, I wanted to let you know that The Four Heatons Traders Association are hosting their monthly meeting at St Martin's church in Heaton Norris. Membership is open to any business based in SK4.
The group have had feedback that we are perceived to be 'Heaton Moor centric'. In an effort to ensure we are not, each of the Heatons now has a representative on the Steering Group. I am representing Heaton Norris 😊.
I am currently the only member in Heaton Norris & I would love more businesses to join us. You are welcome to attend a couple of meetings to find out more about us before joining & I'd love to meet you.
This is the 2nd meeting in a row hosted in Heaton Norris and I will be pushing for more. Any suggestions for venues or offers to host?

If you don't have a business in SK4 but would be interested in coming to the meeting & finding out more about us you would also be welcome. We may be able to assist with projects &/or local issues.

There are Hedgehogs living in the area. They have been seen crossing Grafton Street and visiting gardens/yards on Lloyd St.
Please help protect them by giving them access (small gap under gates and fences), ramps (plank of wood or steps) to raised flower beds, put a saucer of clean water out and please don't use slug pellets. If you let the hedgehogs in they will eat your slugs anyway. Hedgehog numbers are rapidly in decline. Thanks
